like it's not life-ruining although it does tempt me into getting into dumb arguments with strangers online over shit that isn't very important, but I absolutely let it get bad when I had a job and didn't care because it wasn't really my time I was wasting, but now that I'm self-employed? bad!

obviously infinite scroll shit is designed to be addictive and: yeah. it totally does work on me. not totally sure what to do with that information. i feel like you're not supposed to admit it out loud? like it's embarrassing to say? but of course it's addictive. that's what it's for.

i never had too much of an issue with infinite scroll on twitter because it was obsessed with showing me nazi shit which just put me off entirely. bluesky does not do this, which actually makes it kind of more dangerous. does still sometimes show me dumb, time-wasting discourse tho.

i waste far too much time on this site. huge distraction from getting stuff done! not really that essential to my activities! like I'm not engaging in political discourse all day like the worst of social media users but scrolling art all day while fun is still a huge waste of my fucking time!

if hypothetically I were to have done a little testing here and there on this I could hypothetically say I think this is a very quality expansion with good music and a couple of fun little surprises worth seeing and that you should get it. but that's a hypothetical, of course. you understand.

Apart from DOOM, any computer game before 1995 is basically long-forgotten arcane knowledge. I remember when they made a book with 1001 games you must play and it didn't have a single King's Quest but listed all the GTAs & Mario Karts.
