Strict Attachment Parenting made me a nervous wreck as a new mom. Very glad to have that part of my parenting life behind me.

Spotted this afternoon: one 8-year-old son sitting in the dirt, playing in the dirt with his hands, a mere 5 minutes after having taken a shower, put on a new outfit, and endured a Mom Manicure to scrape out all the dirt under his nails the shower didn't get.
