I find this is the case with any of the fads. Blockchain, AI, VR/AR, even 3D TV. The technology is actually pretty amazing but it’s oversold as “for everyone,” largely in support of VCs getting 1000x return before the abandon it for the next big thing™️.

I suspect it’s rolling out gradually. And you’re right that maybe there is some sloppiness threshold that has to be hit before it’s available. Will be interesting to keep an eye on it.
