Growing up in the Kootenays, Spokane was a magical place to visit and holds a special spot in my heart. I hope the situation improves rapidly and everyone there stays safe.

So I've been working at my old office for a couple of days and it's an older, inaccessible building. I have to go down two flights of stairs and then up another to get coffee. My step count has gone through the roof. I can see why my weight has crept up working from home full time.

Took my kid to the new Oakridge this morning because there was a deal on a bike helmet at the sports store and wow is it ever tacky. Lots of gold and marble and blonde wood finishes. Minimalist but still tacky. It’s a style that I’m dubbing “Trump Moderne.”
