Just think as well as they draw and carve you KNOW somebody made them! Draw on rawhide, cut out the shapes, place it on a stick or reed with sap or pitch or sewing… Maybe we’ll find some someday in the permafrost or wildly deep in a dry cave.

I think they've missed out on the true meaning of a lot of things, but I suppose the phrase "The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time to plant a tree is today." applies. Glad my work strikes a chord. 💙

This is an attitude I've seen elsewhere that I do not like. You want them to have a backup foundation of skills in case art works out? Cool. Make sure that's done & then cheerlead the hell out of the art making. At minimum. If possible TRY to actually support the art career. It's poisonous--
