A local business is hosting a contest for a sticker design with a $100 gift card and it’s like…why don’t you just pay an artist you like for one? What happens to all the submissions you don’t choose but you were sent print quality copies of (as per contest rules)? Why is commissioning so taboo?

My family visited last week & it was a lot. My relationship with them is extremely complicated, but I think that was the first time that nothing had gone painful. I'm not really seen as who I am by them & having something that WAS me and something I valued looked at was...weird. #art #comic #artist

Today I learned the US is having another crisis blood shortage. If you can donate (that includes having the time/time off, capability of getting to the site, & so on) please do because microfauna like me can’t. Even with heavy clothes and boots I’m 5lbs short of the weight minimum & can’t help. :(

Uh asking for a friend. ...how many of you making-stuff folks got tested for ADHD as an adult? If you were diagnosed and tried meds and they worked for you how did that impact your art making?
