I remember watching Alien and Texas Chainsaw Massacre when I was 6 and loving it, but I wasn't scared bc I knew even at 6 that I didn't live on a 22nd century spaceship or 70s Texas Then I watched 28 Days Later when I was 8 and it terrified me to the core bc it was set in the places I saw every day
