AlexisMy photographer grandpa worked in sales, like his dad, until he was trained in photography in the service during WWII. Then he and a buddy absconded with the equipment and started a business together! Here he is in a most iconic image.
I’ll fudge the dates here to say that if I were either of my grandmas, I‘d be a dime store clerk or not be working. If I get to be my grandpas, I’d either be working in a plastics factory or running a portrait photography studio. Funny enough, that studio was 4 blocks from my house.
