Yeh for sure - that does require a rather tougher to build system behind it though, as we've found on YouTube people abuse it to blackmail creators, or as we've found with the DCMA notices on instagram, you spend an hour putting together the evidence then wait 9 weeks to be told 'they're not sure'.

So here’s a hypothetical, would you be in favor of pic collecting accounts being labelled as non-original content, facing automated continual scrutiny about the consent of the material they’re sharing and allowing users to force removal of material they cannot account for the permissions to post?

I really cannot stress this enough, but NHS data should not be for sale, it should not be in the hands of any company, it is PRIVATE and ANYONE involved in making it less private should face dire consequences, because I can guarantee that we are not far away from it being used to discriminate.

Think about that in the context of the current regime… abortion, gender affirming care, sexual health and preference or mental health data: medications or therapies, all potentially exposed for you to be questioned about, have visas decided on, have insurance denied on or worse.

And if this doesn’t scare you, it should. This is a US PE firm, we have no local or pan-european control over it, it could genuinely choose, or be compelled to share it’s data with the US government for instance…

I’m so deeply sick of this shit, how come my little business has to do more due diligence on sharing people’s private data than the fucking NHS!? You increasingly now have no confidence that you most private records aren’t being shared and sold with no protections at all.

Exactly - and importantly should not be considered a 'thing for events' - this is about hardening our public spaces so places where pedestrians are CANNOT be breached by vehicles, parks, etc.

But this isn't just about stopping access to events, it's about stopping access to public spaces: it's no good having barriers around an event when you can speed through the park killing people indiscriminately outside the event.

Horrific what has happened in Germany (again). I cannot understand why they have been so slow to put in place infrastructure to protect against this type of attack specifically, when this happened in London, almost overnight public spaces gained security infrastructure designed to stop vehicles.

Absolutely shocking that this has happened again - it's really tough to understand, when this happened in London our public spaces almost overnight got infrastructure specifically to stop attacks by car: parks, bridges, public spaces all got discrete hardware installed, why is Germany so far behind?

That last part using it as an excuse to 'buy more tech' when this happens OVER AND OVER in Germany specifically is insane, it's lazy unconnected policing. Mass surveillance is not the answer to this.

I struggled with that - it's too close to home to be honest - everything about his cunt of a neighbor is where modern Britain is these days.
