And if this doesn’t scare you, it should. This is a US PE firm, we have no local or pan-european control over it, it could genuinely choose, or be compelled to share it’s data with the US government for instance…

Think about that in the context of the current regime… abortion, gender affirming care, sexual health and preference or mental health data: medications or therapies, all potentially exposed for you to be questioned about, have visas decided on, have insurance denied on or worse.

I really cannot stress this enough, but NHS data should not be for sale, it should not be in the hands of any company, it is PRIVATE and ANYONE involved in making it less private should face dire consequences, because I can guarantee that we are not far away from it being used to discriminate.
