The 04 Harley and Ivy series is wonderful on several levels. The story: Ivy has a brilliant scheme, and Harley messes it up. Hilarity ensues 😅 This fun series established them as a comedy duo, something the comics have gone back to repeatedly with fantastic results. I wrote on this and more 👇

It felt like a compromise to me, kept it kind of sort of turn based but really it was meant to play with gambits. The five judges fight is the only time I played it turn based. Dear god I can’t imagine trying to beat them in real time.

Been there 🫡 I had that happen with Octopath 2, and I actually took a break from it, just so I could enjoy the final 15 hours (which were pretty damn good, it’s just the game was 120 hours. That’s a lot of spamming A

Starscream did WHAT to Jazz in the UK Transformers comics 😅 The comics were always a bit darker and more serial than the tv show. Even in the US comics, it was common for stalwarts to be sidelined for extended periods of time 😔 (I always thought that was a mistake that later iterations avoid)
