i wanted to throw up when my friend got there and i saw the msg "my rats are dead" in our gc and saw the videos, i've been livid ever since

she's endlessly edited and deleted multiple posts never taking full accountability and her latest is quite literally just her begging for people to join the next route because she had to refund people. i don't give a flying fuck, when every post is prefaced with woe is me it's simply insincere

they are doing much better. they would be dead if my friend hadn’t demanded to take them on behalf of the owner. they’ll be with their new person soon

he improved for half a day and went downhill. probably heart-related. i tried my best all weekend and held him in my hand and in my jacket for 2 days straight just like he wanted, even fell asleep with him last night (do NOT do that…it was accidental). and so we said goodbye at the vet this morning.

no food to be found anywhere in the bins, their bag of feed was lost, then located and somehow half empty despite all rats being emaciated. so rabbits were definitely fed their feed and made sick. rabbits starved, sat in pee and also died of heat exhaustion. they lied about the AC working too

as for bin 1 and 2, new bedding was panic thrown in on top of shit and piss and piled so high they couldn’t even move or reach the buried nozzle of the (empty) water bottles.

yeah. if i wasn’t so grieved by my losses this year i would’ve joined my friends on this trip and my rats would be dead. after friend 1, friend 2 rushed a day early to pick up already dead rats and made the decision to take friend 3’s. they wouldn’t have made it another day. this was their bin

there is only 1 person i'll use anymore and even if the business side of things is disorganized my animals have always arrived safe and sound. everyone else can go fuck themselves as far as i'm concerned. almost every other experience has been garbage

only after people started swapping stories and a blacklist was posted after being called liars the 2 dipshits were fired. not much of a happy ending. undecided on whether i should name drop. some things aren't adding up so i still don't trust the owner

mahito seems to have made a drastic improvement during the night, i’ve never seen a rat come back from doing that poorly but he’s also been giving me kisses even when he couldn’t even breathe, so he’s a little fighter. tentatively giving him the weekend

honestly numb. i was barely getting through 4 deaths of elderly rats this year. mahito is months away from turning 2. this is bullshit. what god did i piss off

i had a feeling all day today i'd come home and he'd be worse. i've had a feeling for 2 days. he's been acting "old" even though he's not old yet. but i still don't understand why

i think it's too late. i dropped mahito off at the vet yesterday morning and they nebulized him twice and gave us 2 different meds and he's only gotten worse and i'm pretty sure it's pneumonia and now i have to decide what to do tomorrow before he potentially suffers all weekend. he's not even 2
