My son has saved his money to buy an old Nintendo DS. He has taught himself to mod it so it can play any DS game. It took trial and error but he worked it out and im super proud of him. He gets frustrated easily. Hes currently playing Pokemon Platinum for the first time.

It's an important observation that the rising rates of disability claims are correlated with hikes in the age of retirement. That the government can't just policy hack its way out of people's bodies getting old and needing care at some point.

One thing that sticks out to me in all this is how comfortable people are throwing around "nutcase" and "mentally ill" as supposedly discrediting. Like the implication seems to be that if somebody is mentally ill in a way that other people find unpalatable they should have no recourse or voice.
