King of the Hill isn't my favorite animated sitcom, but it's a grounded show with meaningful character development. Aging the characters changes the dynamic in ways most shows wouldn't dare try (how long have Maggie and Stewie been babies again?), so they definitely get credit for that.

The impression I get from the 7800 is "what would happen if an Atari 5200 screwed an NES?" It's kind of a midway point between the way Ataris handle graphics and the tile-based graphics of the NES. It would have been a decent system with POKEY, but TIA for sound in 1986 just. Wasn't. Cutting it.

(forgot this one) NES: Works around the shortcomings of the ColecoVision while introducing new ones. Color output is higher/better but suffers from tiny, segregated micro-palettes. Sprites are three colors, not just one! Limited VRAM means having to update graphics every four lines. There's a BASIC.

EMERSON ARCADIA: It's not just personal bias... the specs illustrate that it sucks both on paper and in practice. FOUR 8x8 characters for tiles and FOUR 8x8 characters for sprites. Garbage sound chip. Low resolution, only two colors per tile. Dependent on weak ASCII-style graphics. BASIC? Yep.
