To be clear I'm not trying to be like oh fuck I'm some random person with no icon I have to white knight for the website to a guy I don't know I'm just explaining from the perspective of someone that has worked on small translation projects in the past why they may be doing it this way

Translations aren't usually as simple as replacing text in a box with another sentence and usually involve operations to the actual code itself. That said if reverse engineering was done with AI too I feel like it introduces too many opportunities for bugs/behavior changes so those should be gone

Romhacking didn't know it used AI because it wasn't disclosed to them until after this post (and this page) was made; these patches often involve solving a major issue which is the programming aspect of translation hacks and that has actual value for anyone attempting a proper translation

here, if anyone wants proof here's the timestamps on when this post was made vs when it came out the project used AI. The translation was also available without AI disclosure since Sunday on RetroGameTalk, so for about a week

The amount of replies on this post assuming it was made in response to anger... the "author" didnt disclose the use until after romhacking made this post and downloads have already been locked away as is their policy... please point your pitchforks toward the actual problem ...
