Kind of want to go through the Unique Vintage site and make a "future sewing projects" list for myself but also I have like fifteen, twenty sewing projects already. This energy is probably just because we cleared one big work roadblock and now I feel like I can do everything.

I miss trains. When I lived in DC I had access to trains up and down the east coast and it was glorious.

I haven't heard anything, but I also haven't shopped from them in a while. Vixen by Micheline Pitt would be my alternative except they're closing and I don't know if they're going to re-brand and re-open or not.

The crow babies were back, with three adults. Both of them ganged up on the same adult most of the time, moving from adult to adult. Also I saw a crow with open beak on the power lines a few days ago, so I put the water bowl out again (although it's been less hot) and the adults took turns drinking.

I was on there because it was one of the boxes I had to tick for my boot camp's job search program. Haven't really done anything with it since.

Then the vest, then THAT project box is empty which means I'll probably be putting linen pants into it. Then I probably finish the blue baby blanket cloak, so that box can get emptied. Then... No idea. And now I've talked myself into wanting to sew instead of work again. 😅

I'm waiting on horsehair braid for the hems (should come by mail order tomorrow) and I need fabric to make bias tape for the shoulder elastic casing (THANKS vulture capitalists for fucking up Wright's you bastards), and then it's maybe a day's worth of sewing. Or a week of post-work afternoons.
