Lineage shouldn’t even think about rebuilding until they’ve cleaned up the mess they’ve created. That’s why I am directing city departments to put their plans up on a shelf while a thorough investigation of the property and any future use is conducted.

Today, I brought together city, county, regional, and state leaders to drive the next phase of recovery following the Lineage warehouse fire and advance recovery across all jurisdictions.

As recovery continues, it’s important that the people most impacted remain at the center of every decision.

Grateful for leaders like @jonathanscott. I had the honor to join him on a tour of his family’s home that he is rebuilding with fire-proof, termite-resistant, and earthquake-resistant materials, one of the first of its kind in this community.
