Or, overdoes the vocal tricks - complicated runs, trills, whistle notes etc. My Mariah era was the early 90s when I could understand the lyrics & sing the melody. When it comes to pop - I want to sing along. Big notes, fine, but I want the meaning & the catchy hook. #music

I love a big female vocal, but I gave issues with a lot of modern ‘divas’. Either they put so much ‘sexy’ tone on the vocal that I can’t understand the lyrics (Tate McRae great dancer great beats, cannot understand the words, puts me off every time) #music

So Perrie’s solo album from last year has accidentally become one of my go to picks despite me having completely missed the Little Mix era. Full of pop bangers that just sparkle and make me happy #music
