You are so right. There is nothing disrespectful about blocking. There is something about the exercise of power when the blocker has a large following and announces the block and the reason for the block that I’m not sure of. I strikes me as the same tactic used by DJT to curate his quislings.

Serious answer: No. But I, albeit unrealistically, wish that those with more power than I exercised that power with humility and respect.
