I didn't really connect with Foundryside well enough to continue this series. I remember loving the magic system, though.

There is one scene in This Inevitable Ruin that very nearly made me DNF the series. It was brutal. I'm still processing my feelings about A Parade of Horribles ATM. It set up a lot for the future.

I enjoyed the Guild Codex series

I have a really loose reading list that usually goes: I curate my Amazon wish list, add all possible titles to Libby or Hoopla, and hope for the best.

I agree. Book one was much more whimsical. I think this one was a lot more subdued, but the character focus of this one really brought it to life.

I haven't gotten to play yet, but I can't wait until I have the time!

Dark Lord was so dark, but the FMC's voice made it so funny and much more tolerable than I thought it might be.

As a former service worker in Arizona, when it's very hot out, people are just rude, so maybe customers are more impatient or want more cold drinks, etc.
