day 15/16 (bonus? last one for the month) toxic yuri vn jam reading: "rot with me" by bird-king on itch; first instance in my jam reading of a description of organs being displaced and falling down to fill the absence left: neat; this was the only one so far that used multiple endings to a benefit

yestertoday:s (i had to sleep) toxic yuri vn jam reading is "only you" by squidosheep on itch; the ending to this one is really cute; think this is my mental-tally of the third entry so far that felt like a cute dynastyscans yuri plot; sometimes you just need to be called a whore, --but with heart

bothered all morning trying to remember a book; something about a boy(?) in like the 80s(?) who controls this invisible(?) creature monster lizard bear(?) thing that i think was phallic and used it to hurt people; like some ballantine books era pulp thing w/ a funny cover of said monster(?) screamin

day fourteen (?) of daily toxic yuri VN jam reading is "TACHYCARDIA LOVERGIRL" by kiakitty on itch; admire this one for how well it uses the medium, not everyone has an intuitive 'feel' for how vn's use pacing/sound to texture their (well..) text but the ppl here are great at it; pretty neat

4th post, sad today; heart:s torn up over glass medicine, i really struggle with myself at times, and the people outside -- it:s the body, and the medicine poisoning me, and taking it clots the blood, but it tames the body, but the people outside, they inflame the mind, so i clot the blood (...)

day thirteen of Toxic Yuri VN Jam reading is "My Lady's Last Flight" by LynYellow on itch; a traditional romance where a young mistress who frequently quotes Trailer Park Boy's Ray but switches his lines around to be "the young lady in the chair"; refreshingly sweet read all things considered

thank you for writing! i did a bad job writing text for your story but i was having this internal "what if" daydream about your game where it took place in gary indiana & the cast wanted to submit to an online open-entry jp manga competition, but then just re-imagined eiko being obsessed w/ america

i think my mental list of "golden rules to build muscle within your VN" so far is mostly just two criteria: 1) aim to have a very strong opening: animation, exciting music, snappy writing, cool visuals, whatever you can do to steal attention; 2) ambience and environmental noise!! it makes it 'alive'

another janitorial job done; my back hurts; my feet are soaked with degreaser; time to read VNs; at times i feel really beautiful with myself for being an aging old 30s janitor and at times it feels like i:m just watching life dissolve me down into more ugly nothingness every further minute

today's daily toxic yuri vn jam read is "a lady's pyre"; this one has a really cool opening, and i:m pretty sure is the first entry i:ve read that had a little animatic opening sequence; i really think stuff like that is ultra important for VNs cause it:s like the salesman foot in door tactic READ

don:t have much time to play tboi or grim dawn; and i don:t really like fiend folio -- but i also really like fiend folio; fiend folio actively feels like it makes my overall enjoyment of tboi lessen, but it:s just such a neat mod and reminds me of, like, jank sc2/wc2 total conversion mods

sick today, still have my VN reading done, but i need new shoes; realized i have a big hole in one of my shoes, and i only have the one pair; was really happy to see the grim dawn dlc come out, i like grim dawn more than d2 i think; fiend folio update early next month, too: that:s a happy thing, too

day 11 (i keep messing the number up) of toxic yuri vn jam reading: eighth heaven by threetare; great title! really love the name! it:s a great number! reminded me a lot of my favorite vn, 2236 AD, in all the ways i like: plot, background, and especially the ost; really liked this one a lot
