But also AOC is far more popular with independents--you know, swing voters and the actual people who voted Blue in 2020 but not 2024, than ***any*** other Democrat who could viably run. She is the second most popular currently-serving politician in America. Overall. With the whole population.

AOC polls miles above either of them. Particularly among independents. Americans are demanding a fighter and she appears to have exactly what that means to most of us. She's got a 2008 Obama outlook and message, with more government experience than Obama had and better social media instincts.

There's like 50 women's events in both the summer and winter Olympics, 3 medals per event, and ten games (summer and winter) in 20 years. So in 20 years there's ~1,500 medals. If there were zero advantage, you would expect 15. Zero trans women have gotten any Olympic medal ever.

They always talk about "but at the elite levels even little physical differences matter" and yeah, that's why no trans woman has ever medaled at the Olympics in over 20 years of being allowed to try. If it were a purely even playing field you'd expect 1% of women's medals to go to trans women.

Lia Thomas tied for Gaines for 5th place, meaning Gaines didn't even move down the ranking. She's gone on a crusade to mandate discrimination against an entire segment of the population because of which order the photographer had them stand with the trophies, a decision Lia had nothing to do with.
