Because of SibL's priority, they had 3.5 months between cancer diagnosis & treatment. In 2 weeks between scans the team went from saying cure to saying treat. The medical teams have been wonderful. Admin a bit dodge. But... if only.

Specialist for my annual checkup if the system’s working. They both laughed out loud. So it’s not going to happen? No… Our health system is so terribly broken and the government doesn’t care & lies endlessly. I’m super uncomfortable, and frustrated that we’re all stuck in this situation.

This notion that the purpose of writing essays is to have an essay-shaped object to hold at the end of it is just... wild, and incredibly widely held apparently? Have these people never... written an essay?

Charlotte Weatherill

The point isn't to produce essays, it's to teach students how to think for fuck's sake. The minute you automate that, it's over. You might as well close the course. Which they're also doing. This is an attack on learning, and everyone is just shrugging.
