Note the role of anti-vax nurse Angela Wulbrecht, who is associated with supercrank Steve Kirsch's "Vaccine Safety Research Foundation". Wulbrecht said that she is a subject in the "Giving Wakefield" Yale study, which was a product of Akiko Iwasaki & Harlan Krumholz's partnership with anti-vaxxers.

NEW: I dug into the court documents in the case of Andrea Shaw, the Idaho mother charged with killing her toddlers. Shaw insists they died following a set of vaccinations. I looked at how the anti-vaccine movement insinuated itself into this case and her life. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

This was a roller coaster of a CDC MMWR Notes from the Field (with a nice write-up by Beth Mole)

In 2005, young 60 Minutes reporter Anderson Cooper exposed notorious "chronic Lyme" fraudster James Shortt, MD. Shortt killed MS patient Katherine Bibeau with IV hydrogen peroxide. Shortt also defrauded Janet & Michael Bate as Michael was dying of prostate cancer.

The Washington Post inexplicably fired 9 of its 14 health reporters. Great health journalists are available.

by way of idle wishful thinking - would be great if NYT hired a science writer/thinker for the op-ed page to tell us what’s happening and what’s at stake in the sciences, at a time when they are under attack in a way Galileo would recognize, while newspaper science journalism is facing extinction

Nick Bilton is spreading Ross Douthat's lie. Douthat is a member of the chronic Lyme cult. He was quack-diagnosed with "chronic lyme" and "chronic bartonella." As with any cult member, Douthat spent large amounts of money on nonsense and spread the dangerous gospel to others.

Dr. Fauci wrote in August 2021: More conspiracy theory like letters keep coming in from congressmen and senators trying to link us to the origin of COVID-19. This is an amazing and unbelievable waste of our time.

This is an important point! Wealthy countries don't usually have a lot of doctors & researchers who are good at diagnosing, tracking, & treating parasite infections. Why? Treating parasites is kinda walled off into "tropical medicine" and "third-world medicine." You know, USAID stuff.

The CDC Autism and Vaccines page received a minor update yesterday. The reference to RFK Jr's agreement with Bill Cassidy has been removed. Dark red = removed. Dark green = additions. RFK Jr had anti-vax lies added to the page in November 2025. www.factcheck.org/2025/11/revi...

CDC has updated its vaccine safety pages. Now says: "The claim 'vaccines do not cause autism' is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism." Whoa #EpiSky #pediatrics #NeuroSky #PsychSky

Besides the anti-science politicians, blame the naturopaths, chiropractors, integrative/functional/alternative quacks, and the broader anti-vax lobby headed by RFK Jr

🧵The US no longer meets criteria for measles elimination. Utah's outbreak has lasted for more than a yr. And cases this yr are at a 35-yr high. I talked w/pediatricians treating measles & talking w/parents who don't vaccinate. My latest @wired.com @kffhealthnews.org www.wired.com/story/the-ch...
