Been on a few sites last couple of days whilst hid up from the heat. Thought of you when found this glossary: www.rspb.org.uk/helping-natu... Seems do know the meaning of 'greenwashing'. They know its a mixed message they're sending magazine readers while still accepting ads for high carbon hols.

Amongst others there's motor oil, antifreeze, heavy metals from tyres/brakes, microplastics from tyres, detergents from outdoor car washing.. Car pollutants stocked up on dry roads cause fish problems when washed into our rivers in large doses. Drive slower, drive less. 2/2

IIRC both staff and vols (presumably vols only after appropriate internal guidance training). They will get called on more and more as climate change increases incidents/severity- RSPB should be pushing harder for net zero (and further) to slow growing risk to staff/vols (and emergency services).
