I often struggle with yeasted breads (I don't know why). But never with croissants (also don't know why). This looks like one I'd have more success with than most other breads (the layers like croissants) and the butter & cheese can only make that better. 😋

I did so many history papers on subjects chosen bc of movies. It does fall in line with my general interest in adaptations, which is what you're talking about, too. There's so much potential food for thought across adaptations, in all their variations, and they all help us see truth/humanity better.

I keep thinking about this. How much of maga is the idea that they're being anti- establishment when they're actually just perpetuating the same system they've already established in the first place? Isn't that just doubling down while declaring themselves 'rebels'? Make that make sense.

My nervous system also hates TV doorbells. I was surprised to discover my actual doorbell is currently less loud and distressing. I think all the fans on during the summer has muted that offense.

No worries. I'm a fairly open person. I had to do the opposite. Trauma bonding meant I needed to believe she loved me, since his antagonism was more obvious. Facing that they did not & that it was very much abuse of different kinds was my overcoming. I've been happy to see collective awakenings.
