Just saw the Elementary episode addressing AI fears and started laughing. All of our dystopia warnings were about the machines deciding humans were pointless when it turns out we're dooming ourselves for fake AI that will die in utero when we do! 😂

Holy fucking yeast masters I’m headed to Cairo on the next flight.
Acid RainA cook from the Egyptian establishment "Am Shaltat" (Uncle Shaltat) having fun preparing Fiteer Meshaltet, a traditional flaky layered pastry, by spreading dough on a table. They're often filled with ghee and honey, or savory toppings like basturma and cheese, and then baked until crispy. #foodie
That's like saying (the quote image) that once you've done the puzzle once, it's worthless, so throw it away. What a lazy, wasteful, consumer based way at looking at the world. This isn't fast fashion or build it to break humanity. You don't just study for tests. You learn, revisit, & learn more.
Shiro SiriusI don’t want to be too sensationalist about this but also I’m the least violent person in the world and I think if someone said this to my face I’d hit them

Overnight, a masked bandit broke into our kitchen. Armed with opposable thumbs, he proceeded to sample everything on offer. I’d just visited the farmers market, so the menu was extensive. I can now share a highly specific peer-reviewed list of what this particular raider did & did not enjoy. 🧵
I did so many history papers on subjects chosen bc of movies. It does fall in line with my general interest in adaptations, which is what you're talking about, too. There's so much potential food for thought across adaptations, in all their variations, and they all help us see truth/humanity better.
I keep thinking about this. How much of maga is the idea that they're being anti- establishment when they're actually just perpetuating the same system they've already established in the first place? Isn't that just doubling down while declaring themselves 'rebels'? Make that make sense.
Alex is Alive 🏳️⚧️Ah, yes, anti-establishment was/is the biggest thing for Independents. Obama won a lot of folks even as people had soured on Dems because he ran on “change.” Folks lives suck, but they don’t fully grasp why. They want different, but don’t know in comparison to what beyond wanting better.
