There are clearly folks making videos about this stuff because they know it’ll do numbers and help them build a following and there are clearly others trying to weaponize their followers against their enemies and it’s just all of the worst incentives of monetizing social media on display at once.

I just want funny videos and deck-building tips. The efforts to capitalize on drama by some in the community really annoys me.

Now that accuser has themselves been accused of bullying. Multiple creators, including both accusers and former friends of the sex pest, have posted harassment DMs from her corroborating that she operates a ‘hit list of people she wants to bring down! (Her words) And everyone is posting through it

Months ago one creator outed another as a serial sex pest and accused a bunch of his female friends of harassing her. Once things were fully disclosed, the entire community ousted the sex pest, including WotC and his friends who issued apologies and said they didn’t know what was really going on.

Creators calling each other out for harassment and airing all of their personal grievances with one another. I’m not saying it’s not legitimate. I’m not saying it’s not important to foster safe and inclusive spaces. But geez it’s exhausting.

We are in agreement on this. I think shot spotter is atorrent. I believe there’s no evidence to support that more police reduce crime or make people safer. Factor plenty of evidence to the counter, including our current situation. I’m just saying that Alexi’s taking popular positions…
