There is a man allegedly running for alder who has AI slop-coded a campaign website scraping the current alder’s content. He literally mentions the alder’s signature achievements as it he was in any way responsible for them, including one that is one of my proudest accomplishments as an organizer.

I don’t really care about soccer but this is good
CBS NewsSuccessfully stopping Gianni Infantino's FIFA plan to sell World Cup profits to private investors was the first half of a high-stakes game in global soccer politics. The second half kicked off Saturday with what seemed a clear aim of ending Infantino's decade-long presidency.

I think Zohran’s election was an awakening for many people to this reality. I sincerely thought in 2022/2023 when we were campaigning for Brandon Johnson that Chicago was at the forefront of this movement. I still don’t get why his administration failed to understand this once elected.

Streetsblog ChicagoA new @wsj.com piece on Chicago's Archer Avenue Complete Streets project ignores the politics behind the Astroturfed “rebellion” against the safety initiative, and includes a major factual error. chi.streetsblog.org/2026/07/31/j...
