A Catholic Bishop whining about "suicidal empathy" is very concerning. I mean, Christians believe Jesus died in our place, it doesn't get any more empathetic than that.
TomJudas wasn't "suicidally empathic" in the least; he was a liar and a thief as scripture clearly says. His ultimate sin was despair. What do Cain and Abel have to do with the brazen serpent?
