Cops hate cities, hate the people living inside of them and are much more empathetic to someone trying to race through the city to enter and leave as quickly as possible than they are to like, a cyclist or pedestrian, who represent a class of people (city residents) the cop wished stopped existing

This seems to be true basically everywhere and unsurprisingly correlates with the big increase in car wreck fatalities that started in 2020.

The last few years have shown that, despite high horse rhetoric from the supreme court, at all levels of government this is not a society that respects freedom of speech
