Your time has come at last.

It's fun to watch reaction channels at that moment because of the genuine shock to it. Makes me happy that those kind of twists can still surprise people decades later.

...development is going to happen in what is very clearly meant to be a SPIN-OFF BOOK?" It's like if the primary Batman book wasn't Batman, it was Brave and the Bold starring Batman or something. Yes, the book might still be very good, but why is THAT the driving force and not the other way around?

...SERIES HAPPENS, as I keep seeing and being told. I just don't get why you would do a comic series like that. Youngblood was the flagship book of Image when it started! It was the thing getting all the attention when Image founded! At one point did Rob decide "Yeah, no, all the important...

...singularly terrible at its narrative that it was never made clear in its primary series, in Strikefile, in its zeroeth issue, in Judgment Day, in Troll, in Badrock, etc., etc. My only guess is that this is something made clearer in Team Youngblood, where apparently ALL THE ACTUAL PLOT OF THE...

Nah, that was almost ten years ago when a tree fell on our garage.

...something is coming out, the universe decides "Pffft, yeah, sure."

What was great about the line WAS that it worked on both levels - either there'd be a new Blade movie and it'd be a cute nod and wink, or what actually happened and it's like "...Yup, and that's you guys' fuck-up."

But how?! My disguise was foolproof!

I see it less as a problem with the Constitution class itself but rather the universe is full of horrors and threats that some were able to defeat and others not so much.

...supposedly on a 5-year mission. The old explanation was that Starfleet adopted the Enterprise's delta in particular because it was the only Constitution class to RETURN from their 5-year mission, so I could see them being scarce during the war because of them not being in range.

The amount of handwaving is also a problem with modern Trek that I have, frankly, because the writing seems to often care more for vibes and feelings than sense. Although if I'm going to cite old canon, Constitution-class starships WERE more designed for long-term exploration stuff - each one...

To be fair, the registration number seems less a count of actual starships they have and more just a specific range of designations meant for different classes. I admit I don't know how it works in the navy, I just mean I don't think Starfleet had 74,000 ships at one point.

Good luck and sorry again you're going through this shit!

Ugggh, I'm so sorry about this bullshit, Allison. =( Only thing I can recommend at this point is a formatted response for copyright claims that apparently works really damn well, but it sounds like you've been in contact with these assholes before. bsky.app/profile/void...

VoidBurger (AKA Jess)

Here is how I get out of Youtube copyright claims. I use this general format and it works 98% of the time, I swear (just, y'know, make sure you ain't lying and the video *is* Fair Use, and personalize the dispute to be specific to that video.) ✨You're welcome!✨

I feel like even if I WAS a wrestling fan and know what the fuck any of that is, this shit would sound unhinged and psychotic. One of the creepiest motherfuckers in his entourage.

Oh, no! At least you have a place to stay until you can get back, but still - so sorry!
