Like, I have an old-ass version of Premiere - 5.5, both because I couldn't afford to upgrade but also fuck cloud, but the primary things I'm using it for now are really the OTHER parts of the creative suite - audition, for instance, for what I need for noise removal and audio effects.
NashIt's a slower transition and some folks are using DaVinci alongside Premiere as they make the move, but they *are* making the move. Premiere still "works" as well as it always has, so the change isn't as much necessity as it is ideological and financial. That means keeping both around at once.
