Riley Gaines came all the way to Minnesota today just to watch Sophie Cunningham make only 1 shot and her team lose to the Lynx. Riley & Sophie are proof cancel culture isn’t real because they both are deeply mediocre athletes that only have big followings due to their bigotry.

Профиль VivelyEveryday you can read numerous articles like this about how bad the DOJ is and how they routinely lie & don’t follow the law. And yet 7 members of the Minneapolis City Council voted yesterday to apply for a grant with the DOJ when the stated purpose of funding was to arrest “illegal aliens”
madi mcvanNYT reports that 29 of the 40 people indicted in the cities church protest have been offered plea deals with downgraded charges — and the defendants aren't taking them.
Not the point of the post, but I feel so much pride in the place where I live when I think about the fact that not only did we do so much to protect our immediate neighbors, but northeasters were also all over Columbia Heights & Fridley everyday too because they needed help.
Ali D.My name is Ali Daniels. I took the photo of Liam Ramos, and the PAC North Star Dawn is using that photo in paid advertisement to spread lies about Peggy Flanagan. They do not have my consent to use the image, and I am prepared to take legal action if it is not taken down. @angiecraigmn.bsky.social
Let’s use our brains here. Does it make sense for *Minneapolis* to partner with the federal government when their stated purpose of funding is to do immigration enforcement of “illegal aliens”. Obviously not. It’s uncomfortable to accept that we have a fascist regime but time to act accordingly.
Minnesota Star TribuneCouncil Member Jason Chavez spoke passionately against applying for the $300,000 federal grant because of references to “criminal illegal aliens” in the government’s notice about the funding.
Shows if you open up the door to this technology in your city, it will be exploited by ICE and other local jurisdictions also using it. Fridley’s camera footage was searched 390,000+ times just in January alone. Thank god we didn’t bring Skydio to Minneapolis. www.startribune.com/police-searc...
The drone company Skydio also contracts with ICE, which for any reasonable person would be a non-starter after Operation Metro Surge. It makes no sense to risk handing over surveillance footage of Minneapolis residents to ICE after they’ve spent the year murdering & kidnapping Minneapolis residents.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob FreyThat’s why we’re proposing a pilot Drone as First Responder program. This pilot could help reduce response times when every minute matters, support an already depleted police department by making more efficient use of limited personnel, improve officer safety, and, most importantly, save lives.
You would think that being against mass surveillance and opposing contracting with drone companies that work with ICE would be a no-brainer in Minneapolis after we were occupied in Operation Metro Surge. But yet, this is still being pushed forward. This is why local politics matter. Get involved!
Aurin Chowdhury MPLS City Council Member W12It’s an abysmal mistake & out of touch for the MPLS City Council to even be considering doing a drone pilot for MPD with a company used by ICE & the IDF. I’ll be voting NO on surveilling our neighbors in Minneapolis. Thanks to the neighbors testifying against this. dronexl.co/2026/02/02/i...
10 years ago today Philando Castile was murdered by St Anthony Police Officer Jeronimo Yanez, who never faced criminal consequences and walks free to this day. As do his colleagues who when they showed up didn’t render medical aid to Philando, choosing to console a crying Officer Yanez instead.
Equal Justice InitiativeOn this day in 2016, 32-year-old Philando Castile was shot and killed by a police officer during a traffic stop for a broken taillight in Falcon Heights, Minnesota.
Using the official City of Minneapolis account this way is disgusting. Not only is this content dehumanizing, but the account continues to be politicized in support of the Mayor. It’s a massive disservice and liability for the City to have no avenues for official nonpartisan information anymore.
City of MinneapolisWe’re putting an end to open-air drug markets. In partnership with American Indian community leaders and law enforcement agencies, we’re cracking down on public drug use and exploitation of vulnerable people in our neighborhoods. https://www.minneapolismn.gov/news/2026/july/open-air-drugs/
