The Councilmembers who voted yes (against the plan): Hollingsworth, Foster, Rivera, Kettle, Strauss, Juarez. Rinck, Lin, and Saka voted for the plan. A dark, sad day for our kids.

This is really simple: we shouldn’t force years long environmental reviews for good environmental things like sidewalks, bike lanes, light rail, housing, etc. Do we need 8 years of review to determine if light rail will be good for the climate? No wonder it’s so damn hard for things to get better.
