I'm a bear of little brain, but in my book taxpayers should not be picking up the bill for any MP to travel to and from party political events, like election fundraisers or party conferences. Either they do it at their own expense, or from party funds. End of line. #nzpol

The lack of self reflection from media on their own biases absolutely results in the current government being held to lower expectations - to the detriment of the public, particularly vulnerable communities, and consistent, escalating erosion of democratic norms.
kylehate to keep doing this, & it has ALWAYS been true, but the double standard for left vs right politicians by the media & other institutions has become WAY too stark now if this was a left wing PM we would have rolling coverage for WEEKS - hauling in veterans & air force supporters to attack etc etc
Hard agree, the ‘it doesn’t cost the taxpayer anything’ line doesn't fly here! Because it sure as shit costs the taxpayer money. The fact he criticised PM use of military assets when in opposition, and stated he wouldn’t really shows you his true colours.
