This is a very good example of 1) why it's so hard to still buy stuff made in America and 2) why equity firms and good ole leverage buyout firms are to blame for the decline in American manufacturing. Because? Capitalism.

This was a great article. Unfortunately, already knew the story of Pyrex. I didn't know this about All-Clad--bought it for lifetime warranty & being made in America. My kitchen is half All-Clad & Scanpan. I never heard of Heritage Steel so will check them out for the next pan.
