Good robot evading a bad robot
tachikomai thought this was from a video game at first but this is just what modern warfare looks like in Ukraine i guess warning, robot on robot violence

My computer just woke me up to tell me it's hungry. I'm not kidding 😂 During a long-running task, it noticed the battery was draining, set the volume to 100% using Computer Use, then opened Google Translate and hit "Listen" so I could hear it asking. Pardon my French, but what the fuck? 🤯
- fight helium balloons - no fish (unsustainable, even farmed) - do cross on red if streetlights are car-centric (e.g. a road with an island that is uncrossable on a single green) - no modern dog breeds - avoid organic foods as unsustainable (it's kinda hard to do the serious/niche balance haha! 😅)
Zach WeinersmithDo you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?
from the next post: > the part that pisses me off is that public sector also bought them and we can’t <use them> as we a) don’t count as a single organization and b) are timid. tldr: IP and copyright suck. We the ppl should demand that Anthropic keeps scanning books, but ALSO releases the scans.
Ted UnderwoodMy secret, Cap, is that I'm *always* angry about old books. For instance, here's a tiny slice of the millions of books 1931-1986 that have no commercial value, that are digitized, but that we're unable to use in large-scale research because they are illegal to share or display.
Fable has pioneered what I like to call chartslop (a subset of datavizslop). this example from prompting freeform analysis ("do whatever you like next") when it'd already begun smuggling seafaring metaphors into dry predictive modelling discussion. dazzlingly beautiful, communicates next to nothing
pondermasterclass in the genre of dazzling dataviz slopui. every element screams for attention but none of them manage to convey much of anything with clarity because that's not the point, the point is to give you a visceral impression that a deluge of valuable information is being valuably processed
Yeah, my rewrite skill literally says "if you're Fable or Opus, spawn a Sonnette agent for that". Older opuses used to be ok, but the new one was nursed by Fable, and learned to talk from her, that's quite clear
Arseny KhakhalinI wrote a good document, made Fable retell it "like you would to an agent of yours", then cut it into bad (fable) good (me) pairs with manual explanations of why Fable's versions are bad. Turned it into a skill, asked Sonette (the most sane one in the family) to apply it. It didn't work :(
How do you "see" with electric eyes? How does collective behavior emerge from individual interactions? Nocturnal weakly electric fish evolved to do this, but studying naturalistic social behavior is very hard. Our solution? Virtual 'fish' 🤖🐟⚡ 📄 arxiv.org/abs/2511.08436
