Yes it is so wonderful. There are some nice contemporary illustrations of women embroidering waistcoats flat on frames before they are cut to shape, not sure if you have seen them

They are beautiful buttons but not Dorset ones as they are solid with embroidery that looks a bit like the spokes of a wheel. Have you ever made Dorset buttons? I find it very soothing
