with uhh.. exception of Carcar (ageless being) it looks like. we're, we're baby, we're kiddo.. at our core it makes us vulnerable, but we admit now it's also makes us kind & positive & cute & friendly and aaa we gush about how much we love our friends before but still wanna b/c we love u all!

guess we could've seen it coming, what with her also being black & white color scheme like me, geheheheh scrungle zigzagoon & tezuka-esque rabbit

but also also, you just made me realize something about the way the story's presented, that could tie into how one of the characters tends to view things...!

ah yeah it's like, we wish to, very very strongly strive to, convey the feeling of the effort it takes for the characters to survive on a mental & emotional level (especially since *physically* surviving means, you kind of *have* to do this, the world ain't letting you off the ride yet)

even if i fail (or not fail), it's up to me and system to tell ourself 'no hard feelings' if it's still not for you & other friends or random readers. just wanted to excitedly ramble some instead of "convince you otherwise" but yee, that's why my story's tagline is: "you already know how this ends"

of what the action & mystery meant to her and the other mains, placing the emotional core less on the reader's tension "what will happen?" and towards "how did this impact the characters? they didn't know what i know, how this ended" wheww this story's gonna be a wild swing, my challenge

though, at the same time it doesn't really start in medias res, sort of (it /is/ the beginning of her experience though!) the story does technically have action & mystery so it's still the game of chicken with the "author fails" truck. i think (well, hope) how i'm approaching it can pull it off

but, her entire journey /is/ an uphill battle. if i can pull it off right, it'll hopefully come across relaying the feeling of "that time i almost didn't make it" "that time i almost lost myself to my demons" kinda, experiences we tell among friends an uphill battle in a meta way too, probably?

it's really cool you mention all this because omg now we wanna ramble! it's kind of, well, a very head-on game of chicken i'm/we're system playing with our PMD story. it's a prequel and it's narrated in past tense by one of the characters so, tension is an uphill battle

we try to keep our dreams and expectation extremely low but sometimes we can have a bit loftier in-the-sky dreams, as an occasional treat~

being ace & age-slider/perma-regressed kind of really skews our perception of what counts as "sexy"/"adult" we think? we really don't have a good gauge for how we come across, so it's easier to err on caution and assume we're more "content-extreme" than we are

based off of several times in conversations when people outside of the circle discovered this side of us omg but also also like, us big sister alters kind of lightly teasing the little sister alters (and ourselves) about it lol
