He/him. Seattle. People should be able to walk and roll without dying.

The only other thing I can find on David is that he volunteered on the Kirkland 2035 transportation master plan in 2015: "David Malcolm, for many hours spent researching and planning future bicycle facilities." your.kingcounty.gov/dnrp/library...

This piece literally does not exist without the letter from the orgs named and the reporting doesn't ask the simplest follow up, "The cameras in question are no where near the Seattle Center, why is this related in your mind?"

Seafair at Alki Beach!

They are also used in Bellingham!

Can someone confirm if the 556 will run weekends after this change?

Seattle Times, I'm happy to turn this into a Nat Lehman special opinion piece!

For those without the context of a liberal church tradition, ministers in UU churches are selected by the members and because of that can't be replaced quickly. Temporary ministers are part ministers, part social workers. They help the congregation grieve and prepare to create a new relationship.

My hot take is that we should hold "experienced" politicians to the same standard as "inexperienced" ones

Give me a Seattle times column you cowards.

Also I realize now I left out the part where the Chief of Police tried to fight a member of the press.

I have absolutely no sources in the mayors office, but by Tuesday I was nearly certain that the Chief of Police was going to be asked to resign. If Council members were actually blindsided by this decision idk what to say.

6. The media treated the machinations of what was a fairly obvious "resign or be fired" decision as if it was completely inscrutable. 7. The media is now treating, what was clearly a fairly quick decision by the Mayor as if it is an example of decision-making paralysis.

4. She started the ball rolling on firing the police chief, while the police chief went to his friends in the media to increase his resignation payout. 5. The police chief's employment lawyers got him a number he was happy with in exchange for his resignation.

Reading between the lines on what happened this past week. 1. The Mayor assumed that the Seattle Police were doing their jobs during a mass shooting, and they weren't. 2. She found out they weren't and it was embarrassing for her. 3. She asked the Chief of Police for his resignation, he refused

This isn't my opinion about this topic, we literally do a yearly survey and for the past three years traffic safety is the number one public safety issue.

Nope, it's the email blast headline. Which might be worse?

I think it's great and also really disappointing and it makes @rvgreenways.bsky.social seem very prescient with our letter a few weeks ago. We need a real transit plan from Seafair next year.

I bet he can give so many talks at police conferences across the country
