My first Phish show was 12/30/94 so for all intents and purposes 1995 was the year for me. I was 17 and man, how lucky as I to be at such the right age seeing this band at such the right time.

When Covid hit, I bought an eero mesh network in anticipation of working from home while the kids were also doing remote learning. Six years later and I think the eeros are dying. My connection frequently drops. (And def not my main router) Does anyone have a wifi extender they like/works well?

one of the reasons i left academia was because of what i call 'the sidewalk dilemma': many profs are expert in the one square of a sidewalk that's theirs. and god forbid you—an expert in an adjacent sidewalk—touch their sidewalk. i had enough of that shit. (also, i am not smart)
