Oh, I never thought you hated it. It's just that it does sound very absurd out of context, and if I knew about it before watching the show, I wouldn't have expected to enjoy that part as much as I did.

I guess it was presumptuous to think everyone hated the time bubble. I also don't think every expansion took one year, but I personally can't bring myself to think the entirety of the game has only been one year, especially when considering all the side content in the game. In my case, I have a hand wavy excuse that the twin's time in the First put their bodies and souls out of sync, and that leads to some weird stuff, including slowed aging.
