Some entered HEMA out of curiosity and some joined for fitness/exercise.

So, I would tentatively say - the results are not conclusive and might not reflect the larger population/community/scene. It seems to indicate yes, some are influenced by Arthurian/chivalric literature and some are also influenced by pop culture fantasy.

Not discounting the fact? assumption? most are fantasy fans/readers... Again, assumption on my part - the results are not clear and elaborated.

Likewise, not all are influenced by a lady knight (Joan of Arc) nor are they exposed to the literary/visual representations of lady knights (or woman warriors).

I would say that not all HEMA practitioners are medievalists or fans/learners of medieval history. Some are influenced by pop culture. Some are motivated by personal reasons.

Mmm, not all are influenced by history - don't believe in the existence of lady knights. I can't say that they are ahistorical: that would be the wrong term to use. Not all are medievalists or medieval history enthusiasts.
