It's a very understandable urge to want aggressors punished, and to want revenge on one's enemies. In the process of achieving this, how easily can you separate aggressors from bystanders? Bystanders from conspirators? Conspirators from lesser victims?

Some people, when thinking on a political issue, should really be asking themselves what they're working for. - Do I want the system to change, or do I just want roles within the system to be reversed? - Do I want a solution, or do I want revenge? - Do I want peace, or do I want punishment?

So...he used GenAI to 'summarise' and didn't check the results before copy pasting but put a Human Authored label on his book anyway. Which rather sums up the value of a self certification scheme.

I get why ppl get frustrated w disabled and chronically ill friends feeling unpredictable or flaky but this is like, the reality. If i commit to an event, it's not just if I can do that event - it's that even if I come and it's not actually very intensive, I pay for 36 hours afterwards

And I was very stiff and sore and groggy and easily confused. The afternoon and evening I couldn't really concentrate on anything, went to bed at eleven or so, then slept the night through. Today, on Monday, I feel okay - a little stiff and sore, but mostly functional

Woke up at 8ish to eat some food, take my pills, and feed the cats, then went back to bed. Until 4pm or so THE NEXT DAY, I slept. I would sleep for three or four hours at a time, eat and drink something small, then sleep more. My partner came home off his night shift and I got up AFTER him.
