Okay, I'm late to the party but season 1 of Sugar was so good. Like I don't think I can get over how good it was actually. The writing was fucking magnificent. The movie references were absolutely the sprinkles on top of the icing. I really wish more people were talking about this.

I said this on the video, but paid GM's feels oddly similar to sex work to me. that is: Initially I had a cultural reaction that was negative, but once I thought about it, I realized it was just a job where you're doing something that most people think of as recreational. Still a valid job.

Finally caught the last episode of season four of Legends of Vox Machina and that kicked me in the teeth. I was not ready for that ending. Holy shit. (We were waiting till the kids could watch with us, so it was slow going) I can't believe I avoided spoilers.

It's more that for someone who is this much of a narcissist, reality doesn't exist. Reality is whatever he wants it to be in the moment. Add to that him being surrounded by yes men his whole life and having dementia? He's basically a fictional character.
