It's been a brutal two weeks in Chicagoland with ICE pointing guns and tasers, multiple car crashes, violent arrests and a significant uptick in detainments overall. Feds continue to stalk courthouses across multiple counties. Today, agents were also seen at the rideshare lots at O'Hare.

New: attorneys for U.S. citizen Debbie Brockman announced today that she's filing Federal Tort Claims Act claims against the govt. over her 10/10/2025 arrest by federal immigration agents in Chicago. Brockman, who last October worked for WGN, is now seeking $10M in damages.

Ending this operation is not enough. We need justice and accountability. That starts with independent investigations into the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, economic restitution for businesses impacted, abolishing ICE, and the impeachment of Kristi Noem.

It's not quite the most pressing issue at the moment, but the American people absolutely have a right to know the names of the federal officials who shot and killed a man peacefully protesting, who was on his knees, prone in the street when they shot him in the back.

it is especially jarring to see so many Illinois politicians finally responding in some way to ICE and CBP as if they did not spend all of fall here doing the exact same shit they're doing in MN. Makes you think about what would have happened if those same people had something to say at the time.
