The fact these drones are inevitably going to pepper spray random students and staff and prove ineffective in an actual scenario will be lost on whichever backwards "security consultant" was able to fleece these districts. If only there was another way to make guns less of a threat at schools...

The Washington Post

Some schools in Florida, Georgia and Colorado will be equipped with drones this year that can go through halls, smash windows and pepper-spray active shooters if teachers report a threat. The program follows a wave of high-tech campus security spending. https://wapo.st/4gVNMXn

Before this year ends, Grok Imagine will make a full-length movie of The Odyssey that is historically accurate and true to the art of Homer

Rule of 3 could do the funniest thing right now.

I think the fact the modal Democratic voter is a woman of color drives a lot of people crazy because while they may profess to believe in equality and acceptance, they still want women to make a little less money and be a little more quiet than them.

Ryan Broderick

A lot of leftist men were — and seemingly still are — willing to accept Graham Platner's many many faults because they have a sneering, condescending belief that working people in this country are white townie oafs who will only listen to other white townie oafs. www.garbageday.email/p/the-curdli...

A lot of them felt like guys who "support" women as long as she makes less than them and laughs at their pop culture references. He was basically a rich kid who said the R-word on Reddit and apparently that was aspirational to a lot of them.

Julia Carrie Wong

continue to think that planter’s support with the lib/left male pundit class was not *in spite of* his various transgressions, but because of them, a frankly pathetic attempt to reassert dem masculinity through a man whose violent career they believed represented working class authenticity

The SiriusXM logo on that clip is pretty damning as well; this isn't some two-bit Blaze Media-type podcast. This is a radio show on the major satellite radio company's airwaves spewing Stormfront-level hate.

Here’s the discourse we’re missing out on by not engaging on Elon Musk’s microblog

I guess I sort of understand the performative intent behind this proposal but woof does it seem like an untenable situation in practice.

Hypervisible

“A seven-person independent commission — nominated by the president and confirmed by the Senate — would manage the fund and use its voting shares ‘to block decisions that hurt the American people and to push for policies that help them,’ the bill summary says.”

Trump gleefully joined in with Netanyahu and now this war being managed by the dumbest people you can find in this administration is on Israel's timeline and temperament.

Zoomer Antimillenarian

It’s not even going to work. Iran is demanding concessions from Israel that Israel will not give and the Israeli public and a Knesset majority are openly opposed to. This war is not going to stop until Iran is willing to accept concessions from the US that the US actually can grant.

Yeah, it's another step in the process but to call it a "deal" is deeply misleading and, more importantly, is absolutely going to blow up in Trump's face if/when talks breakdown or he gives up more.

CNN correctly reports “The signing of a memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran is expected to kick off 60 more days of negotiation on ending the war.” www.cnn.com/2026/06/14/w...

I get he's not paid to have an ounce of shame but you'd think someone in their comms team would advise him to maybe not mention US precision aiming and Palantir in the same sentence.

Aaron Rupar

Palantir CEO Alex Karp: You look at American performance in Iran, which was been thanks to the bravery of Americans and I would like to believe our tech, very few losses on our side, very precise, very controlled." (The US blew up an elementary school .. )

Even if these claims are all universally exclusive to agriculture (they aren't, but go with me)...what's the alternative to effectively no larger-scale society? Sky-high infant mortality rates, shortened life spans and lower quality, and extreme degradation of technological advancements?

A different take on that statement from an archaeologist 💯💯💯🎯

I wish more people would treat the faux moral scolds on Xwitter with this level of contempt.
