Only Shiren makes me bury my face in my hands and sob so consistently when a plan falls apart at the very last step. 6 has a 5-floor bonus dungeon where floor 5 always starts with a monster house full of high-level monsters. This time, it teased me by putting the exit in that very same room and... 😭

I really miss the Babelfish days of machine translators and how especially useless it was with Japanese<->English. For a long time, it insisted the Japanese title for Animal Crossing translated to "How You Hit the Forest" and it wasn't until a decade later I finally figured out the logic behind it.

PC gaming continues to be so funny, dude. Downloaded Dragon's Dogma 1 to stream to my Retroid locally at 120 FPS. Game refused to boot even after manually installing the dependencies. Switched to my Bazzite partition and the usual FMV hiccups aside, it ran more or less flawlessly, which, figures.

I'll let you decide who I'm thinking of, but I think part of being a good translator is being curious about the world, how it works, and how different people relate to it. And if you're only interested in prescribing "reality" instead of probing it, it puts your ability to empathize in stark relief.

This essentially has the same CPU and GPU as the Retroid Pocket 6 and the non-lite Ayn Thor models, so if you want a handled that can capable emulate up to PS2/GC and handle a good amount of indie/older PC games, just with a 4:3 OLED screen, this should in all likelihood treat you quite nicely.
