One of the biggest signs in meeting someone that we might get on is knowing at least a little about a lot of things. It doesn't have to be the same lot of things but find it really hard to relate to uncurious people.

My take on the evergreen "what are posts on this site called" debate is they're tweets, the same way these are band-aids

They want us to get excited about learning about Scrooge's past, what other totally unexplored territory will they come up with next, his present and/or future?

The weirdest bit about that logline is every other bit of promo I've seen indicates just yet another Carol adaptation and not some kind of prequel, as does the cast list... (And if they're just talking the "past" part of "past/present/future," that's in every Carol so how is it a differentiator?)

There's something kind of special about how the YouTube comments section for any song that got play on the radio 10 or more years ago, regardless how mediocre, is the most positive place on the entire damned internet...

Honestly while the 10-cent beer night stuff is obviously iconic this was already my favorite yet in this series just off the sneak attack

I have a certain nostalgic almost-sincere affection for this song (mostly because it was my crew's signature group number in my karaoke years), but has there ever been a band that looked more like a sketch comedy troupe in costume for a sketch about a rock band?

We lived close enough to the border to get Canadian TV on antenna sometimes but far enough it didn't come through all the time, so this show was in that "saw just enough to blow up the idea of it in my mind to something the actual show almost certainly couldn't have lived up to" category for me...

There is no wide release movie long enough that I can't happily fit it between meals, those are just two experiences that imo can each only detract from the other...
