Our mayor used to have one after he hurt his back. I think he was given a bat from the Red Sox to have turned into it

Me too. I also didn't think that a public town non-union library would be open to negotiation. I wish I had pushed on getting 1 day of vacation every year for the next 5 years instead of having to wait 5 years for my 3rd week.

What if you hired a person named AL but referred to them as Ai? Or someone named Claude. It feels like there is a loophole to exploit in this statement.

Oh, nice. I'll share it with some of my friends!

I've been thinking about this and am confused as to why they aren't just going to take over the Navy Yard spots (which are behind a security gate) and/or the Coast Guard base or some other spots. Whatever lot they get isn't going to be secure.

Meanwhile, I knew of Portland, ME from an early age cause that is the last American airport where our cross Atlantic planes can land if there is a problem or where they bring the misbehaving passengers coming from Europe lol

My little prius was getting 52 mpg earlier today. I love it.

I like that Portland, ME was a "hard" one and that made me giggle cause a lot of people possibly don't know that there are 2 "major" Portlands in the US

It is set in Salem and one of my former coworkers store is mentioned in it which was fun to stumble upon

My answer of employing people to actually go around and clean the city and be available to answer questions didn't always get through to them. But it always made me happy. Even away from the downtown area, Eastie was clean most of the time. Ppl are just weird about cities and their people.

Did he die in prison? Looks like he was sentenced to 2 years and the trial was in Portland, ME so I'm assuming he was imprisoned there. He also lived in Exeter, NH at one point but their online newspapers are down right now. Hmm

OK, so I'll have to learn more about Greenwood now. I love my squishy shark I got at MLA this last year.

I would love to! But the flights were so expensive last time we looked at Scotland. Need to take Eric, he's never been

I'll have to look at that. I'll be able to think more clearly in two weeks once I've handed in this stupid project

I've used their free weekends but not joined officially. Might have to for a short time. There aren't many McFadyens but I still want to make sure they are mine.

I'm terrified of that site since I don't have a handle on my Scottish people so I'm convinced I'll just buy documents for all the wrong people lol Wish they were more like the Irish site

And I will do what I can to do so. Ebooks and audiobooks count too! Graphic novels! Magazines! Who cares if it isn't on the NYT 100 books you need to read. I hate most of those personally bc I don't like fiction lol. Give me a microhistory about fish or WWI or a freaking house any day :)

As a librarian, I also think that people have to think about books differently. A lot of people come with baggage from others about what is "proper" reading when in all honesty, all reading can be good. I don't care if you like romantasy/cozy mysteries/Colleen Hoover. I want to get you that book

Haha I thought this was my Chelsea Creek (Massachusetts) and I couldn't figure out where you could have taken this

Pretty sure he'll decide to close Catholic churches since these idiots don't seem to understand where their own religion comes from
